What is a Bogmat / Crane Mat?

Our Hardwood Bogmats, Crane mat, Site mat or ‘your preferred term of’ mat you wish to use are sold in single units                                   – 5m x 1m x ‘required thickness’mm OR 3m x 1m x’required thickness’mm

They are generally made of 5no. beams of hardwood timber either 5m x 200mm or 3m x 200mm drilled then joined together with steel bolts to form a raft like structure – this is 1no. mat

The thickness of the mat ie. 70mm, 100mm, 140mm or 200mm relates to the thichness of the 5m x 200mm or 3m x 200mm hardwood timber beam used

Therefore creating sizes of : 5m x 1m x 70mm, 5m x 1m x 100mm, 5m x 1m x 140mm, 5m x 1m x 200mm, 3m x 1m x 70mm, 3m x 1m x 100mm and 3m x 1m x 150mm

The mats do not interlock with each other – To create a roadway or platform they are just layed down and butted up next to each other *********No additional bolts or fixings required****************
